Ms. Evangelista’s extensive expertise in the beauty and fashion industries has led her to gain the admiration of peers for her influence, passion and creativity. Ms. Evangelista will bring forth her deeply personal experiences in using skincare products throughout the course of her career to serve as an integral member of the product innovation team. In her new role, Ms. Evangelista will help to develop products with superiority and relevance to today’s women, ensuring the highest standard of creative excellence is accomplished.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Ms. Evangelista’s interest for fashion and modeling emerged at an early age. At 15 years old she was discovered by a scout and urged to move to New York to pursue a professional modeling career. Ms. Evangelista grew knowledgeable of the industry and established a successful career, producing iconic fashion images with renowned photographers including Steven Meisel, Peter Lindbergh, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Patrick Demarchelier, Steven Klein, Annie Leibovitz and David Sims, among others. Her beauty has graced over 600 magazine covers and has appeared in advertising campaigns for Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Versace, Christian Dior, Calvin Klein, Chloe, Hermes, Donna Karan, Jil Sander, Ralph Lauren, Fendi, Gianfranco Ferré and De Beers.
Ms. Evangelista’s innate ability to understand women’s skincare needs is the driving force that keeps her inspired. She has been cited by the international press as a style icon and has received numerous honors. In 2003, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the VH1 Fashion Awards and was the first model to be inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame. Aside from her prestige and extreme accomplishments as a supermodel, Ms. Evangelista is committed to various charities and is an activist for HIV/AIDS research as well as breast cancer awareness.
